Love Our Lurkers 6

image

Once again, the magnificent Bonnie over at My Bottom Smarts is hosting her annual Love Our Lurkers event.

Each year on this day, blog writers from all over the world take the time to tell you, our readers how much we love you… even if you never say a word.

Today, why not give commenting a try?  Peek out your head and let us know what you think, what you like, why you read, or just wave and say “hi.”  Or don’t, the choice is up to you and we love you just the way you are. 😉

To see who else is participating in this year’s Love Our Lurkers day, head on over to Bonnie’s!

Hi Em, just saying hello for LOL day! You’ve barely been in trouble at all lately–what’s up with that? 🙂

It probably means that she’s planning something spectacularly naughty, Scarlet.

  13. dd says:

Hi Em, Happy LOL Day! I’m afraid I too often lurk and don’t comment but I really enjoy your writing (oh and the cats too of course!).

  14. Em says:

Hi everyone! Thanks for saying hi. I always wonder who the quiet majority are who visit here each day 🙂

Michael, happy LOL day to you too. I’m about to head out on a LOL day scavenger hunt and find all the blogs I need to comment on! It’s nice having this one day a year at least where we all take the time to leave a nice note.

Kate & DD – I’m really very glad to hear the cats are enjoyable to people other than me! I do think we all need a little extra levity on Mondays, though 🙂

TMT – I think this is the most fun part of this day, meeting new people and discovering other blogs! Just clicked through to yours and I look forward to visiting.

Hi, Anonymous! Glad you found commenting easy! Try it again some time 🙂

Indy, I have loved getting to know you and so many other people from here and twitter. The internet really is an amazing thing, sometimes.

Scarlet & Alice, Hmph! It’s just my true (very well behaved) colors showing.

Dave – I love “the green ouch couch!” I may have to co-opt that phrase. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by and saying hi.

Erica, Hi! Thanks for keeping me so well entertained throughout the week over on your own blog.

  15. Pink says:

Hi, Em! I am a quiet admirer of your blog. I always find something worthwhile here — aside from your spanking anecdotes you have yummy recipes!

    Happy LOL Day!

  16. Em? Are you there? I thought I saw Scarlet’s bus run over you. If you’re still there, happy LOL Day 6! If not, can I have your stereo?

  17. bree says:

    Ok. So I lurk. 😛

I guess I might as well tell you, now that I have commented, I agree with you about the Little House On The Prairie series and I have read all the books. When I was a child, I got spanked and so did all the children in the neighborhood. We never talked about it between ourselves, though. It was too embarrassing and if one of the children in the neighborhood heard you getting spanked (It was the city and the houses were very, very close together. Not good insulation in houses back then, either.) you never lived it down. They were very cruel and would tease you about it the entire day or next day depending on when the spanking happened. I never teased anyone about their spankings because I knew how it felt to be teased about it. Ummm…I also watched Gidget with Sally Fields for the spankings. I guess I related to the character a lot. Gidget “The little girl with big ideas”. Sigh…..I hope what I said wasn’t taken as being inappropriate. Do not really like talking about this.

I love the cat stuff and I like reading what you have to say.

    Thank you, Em. 🙂

  18. A.S.S. says:

Happy LOL Day! We both very much enjoy your blog.

  19. Mindy says:

Happy LOL Day, Em! I see that Scarlet has been a reckless driver again. 😉
